Who this policy is for
This policy covers the public site, accounts, donations, and verification files for True Impact Foundation. It applies to supporters, organisers, and anyone who writes to us.
Your account
An account stores your name, email, a password hash, and the role you chose: donor or fundraiser. Fundraisers also store a phone number, date of birth, address, PAN, and bank details when they submit verification.
Identity documents
Identity, address, and bank documents are stored privately. They are not shown on the campaign page and are not placed in the public folder. The organiser who uploaded a file, and a reviewer, can open it. A replacement marks the earlier file as replaced.
Donations
A donation stores the amount, the campaign, the name, and the email used at checkout. An anonymous gift hides the name on the campaign page. It does not delete the email from the payment record. You can give without creating an account. This site does not email a receipt.
Contact messages
The contact form stores your name, email, topic, and message so the review team can read it. You can also write directly to the contact address below. The form does not add you to a mailing list.
Password reset
A password reset stores a token against the account until it expires. This site does not send that link by email. It is shown on the confirmation screen. Anyone with that link can set a new password until it expires.
Analytics
If a Google Analytics measurement ID is configured, the public site loads that tag and asks it to anonymise IP addresses. Donor names, emails, and payment records are not sent as analytics parameters. If the ID is unset, the tag is not loaded.
Asking about your information
Write to the contact address and say which account or campaign the request is about. We can tell you what is stored for that account, correct a contact detail, or remove a contact message. Verification files for a live campaign are kept while the campaign and its withdrawal record are open.
